Swingy Dinghy - Zen Game
Worked as a Gameplay Programmer. Focused on gem collection, scoring, and randomized the gem and cloud spawning.
A meditative game about rocking a dinghy for one or two players. Made in under 48 hours for the “wave” theme of Global Game 2017.
Players attempt to collect purple gems floating at various heights to earn points. They do this by manipulating a wave using the left and right alt keys. If the boat rocks too much, the sailors are knocked off. If they all fall off, the game ends. Players can either control both sides or team up with a friend. Lastly, the game’s music dynamically reacts to the waveform of the water.
